God's will is The Blessing by Ebenezer Ayesu

JUNE; OUR MONTH OF THE BLESSING. ‘BLESSING’ is a covenant word which means “empowered to succeed’. When God entered in to a covenant relationship with Abraham, one of the major blessings he pronounced on him was the blessing of fruitfulness and multiplication. When God made a covenant with the children of Israel under Moses’ leadership, he included the blessing of fruitfulness in the terms of the covenant. Deu 7:14 says: “Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male nor female barren among you, or among your cattle.” The BLESSING is what distinguishes the blessed and separates them from others. It is that extra touch of God on your life that makes you extraordinary. God has blessed us but some of us are not manifesting the blessing and the problem is not with God but us.  God’s desire is to bring abundant wealth and prosperity to you. He wants to bring you to a land where you will lack nothing and have no Scarcity. Now, let’s look at some verses in the Bible which highlights the mind of God concerning prosperity. Deu 8:6-13 says:  "...therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him. For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land A land of brooks of water of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; Deu 8:8  A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; Deu 8:9  A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. Deu 8:10  When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee. Deu 8:11  Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day: Deu 8:12  Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein; Deu 8:13  And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast."                                Deu.8:17 says:   "And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth." Deu 8:18: "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day." 3Jn 1:2:  "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."  Therefore from these verses highlighted we can see  that God's will is prosperity and not to make us fail or lack anything. He has giving us the power to succeed.         THE BENEFITS OF THE BLESSING OF GOD 1. It makes us rich and add no sorrow or affliction Prov.10:22 says: "The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it."  Deu.7:14 says: "Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle." 2. We are made to be partakers of Abraham's blessing through our Lord Jesus Christ. Gal 3:13 -14 says: "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." 3. It makes us great people. Gen.12:2-3 says: "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." 4. It brings multiplication to us. Gen. 22:17 says:  "That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies".  In this text of scripture from Gen 22:16-18, the lord swore by himself to bless Abraham and his Offspring because he obeyed Him. 5. It brings blessing to our work (see Deu 28:12-13 & Deu 15:4). Deu 28:12:  "The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. Deu 28:13  And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:" 6. The blessing of God protects our wealth.   Mal 3:11  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. (See Job 1:7-10 –The lord himself blessed Job and secured his wealth by forming a hedge around him) Job 1:7  And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 1:8  And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Job 1:9  Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? Job 1:10  Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. This was one of the few places the devil told the truth. See also Psa 5:12  For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.   The blessing of God itself emanates from God who is above all. It is therefore a spiritual blessing from above and not beneath (See Gen 49:25-26 & Eph 1:3). This is what beats the understanding of Satan and he cannot comprehend it at all and as such can do nothing to stop you. The Bible says he that is from above is above all, so the devourer could not kill Job. All he stole from Job was restored twofold by God after Job passed the test of his faith in God. Until God allowed Job to be tested, the devourer could not touch his possession because of the edge God built around all he had.
