WELCOME TO MARCH OUR MONTH OF PERFECTION

Eph.4:11-15: “And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we henceforth be not more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and the cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”
Psalm 138:8: “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me…”
Recently, one of our Church members was telling me a ridiculous story of a “Church” she used to attend where they were told that the way to subdue the devil was to take up physical canes and weep him. Also, when you look around today, you find so many believers praying that the demons afflicting them should fall down and die! These are just a few of the unscriptural practices you find in the body of Christ that gives me a lot of concern. In the first place, you cannot subdue the devil with physical canes because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal. Secondly, spirits do not die! They are eternal beings. All these truths are in the bible which these baby believers carry around without reading or if they read, do not understand. Unfortunately, many who pedal and believe these lies are not even believers but humans seeking solution to their personal problems from places where they cannot find it.
The reason for this state of affairs if that many are not recognizing and taking advantage of God’s gift of the fivefold ministry offices of the apostle, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. God set these ministry gifts in the Church to help us grow up to be able to do the work of the ministry. Contrary to what many in the body of Christ believe, ministry is not restricted to these fivefold ministry gifts or full time Levitical work; it is an all-encompassing lifestyle of the believer intended to prepare the world for the soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have always believed that it is not good enough to complain about a situation without doing anything about it. The word of the Lord to us this month has therefore provided us with the opportunity to make our contribution to solve this problem. To this end, this month, we shall be looking at the fivefold ministry in the body of Christ and the role each of them is expected to play to help perfect or cause us to mature in Christ to enable us arise and fulfill the ministry or our destinies as assigned to us by God. The office of the Apostle for instance is not in the title but in the work of planting Churches or setting up similar institutions as appointed by God. Their ministry is usually accompanied with genuine signs and wonders and mighty works and the vessels remain humble before God.
Also, from our second text scripture for the month, it is clear that the perfecting or maturing of the saint could only be made possible with cooperating with God and this is why Apostle Paul said in Philippians 2:13 that it is God who works in us to will and to do of his own good pleasure. This is why we cannot attain to spiritual maturity without God’s Spirit guiding us. However, to get His guidance, we need to renew our minds with His word because without that we would never agree with God as the Bible says in 1Cor.2:14 that the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness unto him. Thus this month, we shall also learn how to renew our minds to follow the dictates of our spirits which are controlled by the Holy Spirit to the end that each of us would be able to discern the voice of God and hear directly from Him.
It is my heart felt prayer that this month, you will grow up spiritually to the point of being led by the spirit of God so you do not fall prey to spiritual charlatans in Jesus’ name!
For God to lead you however you must belong to His family and if you are interested in hearing from God directly so He can lead you, the first step is that you must be born again into the family of God. If you want to do so, you can do it right away by saying the prayer below out loud:

Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name!
Amen.

Four Simple Steps to Consciously Hear and Follow the Voice of God

In the time which we live in, the need to hear the voice of God in order to be guided by Him in our daily lives cannot be over emphasized. This is why it is so important for us to hear his voice. Sadly, many hear without realizing it because Jesus said in John 10:27 that His sheep hear His voice. Also, we see from Ps.32:8 where God said He will instruct and teach us in the way we must go that it is God’s will to cause us to hear His voice.
In light of the foregoing, we shall examine four simple steps we must take to consciously receive the voice of God. These four steps are set out in Hab.2:1-3. That text reads thus in the King James Version of the bible:
“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it;
For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry”
1.     Stillness: This is keeping still before God with absolute concentration and a determination to receive a revelation of your God given purpose from God or any other thing you may desire to know of the mind of God. A good example of this is found in the story of Elijah in 1Kings 19:9-21 in the Old Testament and Paul in the New Testament. Acts 9:1-20.
2.     Vision:  When God speaks, it paints a picture in the canvass of your mind. Where you have difficulty with comprehending this, God could even use something you can see physically to give you a vision because God works with what we can envision. This is the good use of the power of imagination God talks about in Gen.11:6. For example, God had to make Abram look at the sky to see and attempt to count the number of the stars in the sky until he lost count just to help him get a vision of how numerous his offspring will be even though he was said to be childless at that time and his wife Sarai was pronounced barren. See Gen.15:1-6.
3.     Spontaneity: The still voice of God that is not physically audible comes to you through a chain of spontaneous thoughts. You have no control over the thoughts. They just flow and when God is through with Speaking, they stop. There is no thought original with man. Thoughts are taken. This explains why Jesus said in Mat.6:25, 34 that we should not take thoughts that result in anxiety. These thoughts are words that are conveyed to the spirit of man which must first be picked by the soul. The spirit realm controls the physical one. This is why Paul says in Rm.8:14, 16 that as many as are led by the spirit of God are the sons of God. That the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the sons of God. See 1Thessalonians 5:23 which makes us understand that man is spirit, soul and body. Your spirit is the real you made in the image and likeness of God and which departure from your body causes physical death as revealed to us in James 2:26. Your soul is the intermediary between your spirit and body and contains your mind (seat of memory and creativity), your will (seat of decision making), and your emotion (responsible for the direction of your will and general drive in life). Your body is the physical you made up of the five senses of the central nervous system – sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. Whereas your body controlled by your physical senses had dictated the way you have lived as a natural man because of the separation of your spirit from God’s through the fall of Adam, now that you are born again, you have to retrain your body to follow the dictates of your spirit which is now led by the Holy Spirit as we saw earlier. This is the real battle of the new creation man. The only way we can win this war is to allow the word of God renew our minds to have the mindset God wants us to have. When this takes place, our wills and emotions would easily follow divine directives and cause our bodies to act accordingly. See Romans 12:1-2.
4.     Journaling: Then you move on to the next step which is journaling. If you try to understand everything God is telling you at the moment, you will lose concentration and may not be able to receive everything God is telling you so you journal for the duration of the flow of thought and later, you can read through what you journaled and you will get the true picture of what God is telling you. This is how the ancient prophets kept records of what they were told (see 2Tim.3:16-17; 2Pet.1:19-21). God exemplified this when He gave Moses the law he wrote on tables of stone and to tell you how important this was to God, when Moses in his anger at the behavior of the Israelites destroyed the tablets, God called him up to the mountain again and made him get two other tablets of stone and He wrote the same commandments on these new tablets of stone. You will find this account in Ex.24:12; 31:18; 34:4. Moses recalled these incidents in his final speech to the children of Israel packaged in Deut.5:22. I believe that the importance of journaling what God tells you cannot be overemphasized. This is why God commands us to write the vision and make it plain on tables so someone can read it and run with it. If what God told the ancient prophets in the past was not journaled, Peter would not have had a more sure word of Prophecy to refer to in 2Pet.1:19. For example, Jeremiah the prophet wrote down what God told him and more than seventy years later, Daniel read it and ran with it. It enabled him to pray for the freedom of the children of Israel from captivity. You will find these accounts in Jer.36 and Daniel 9:1-4. Even when in Jeremiah’s life time, the king tried to destroy the writings of Jerimiah, God caused him to preserve it by telling him to write another which Jeremiah did. See Jer.361-4 and 27-32.
A word from the Lord on the 1st day of April 2011 when I taught this message in a seminar in Hohoe, Volta region, Ghana.
A new day has dawned for you because you have obeyed me in spite of all odds I will cause my voice to be heard in all the nations of the world through what we have done here tonight. Remember that through the voice of the Lord shall the Assyrian be beaten down who smote with a rod. I am your God and there is no one who put their confidence in me who shall be disappointed. I do not relate by the ways of men for my ways are higher and my thoughts are higher. I will be exalted in the earth I will be exalted among the heathen because of the trumpet I shall sound by you in a short while. This is my mind for all my own.”
The Sinner's prayer
You may have stumbled on this and you are not born again yet. This steps pertain to only those who are born again but the good news is that you can be born again now by saying the following prayer out loud meaning it with all your heart and God would immediately kick you off on this journey of being led by His Spirit.
Amen.

Welcome to February: Our Month of Good Success

“This book of the Law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
An examination of our text scripture for the month would immediately reveal to us that qualifying success with the adjective: “good” implies that Success cannot be viewed as positive all the time because good success implies that there is a bad one. Our text also shows us that good success is founded on the truth we know, meditate on and live by. The Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:17 defined truth as the word of God. When our text scripture was written, the word of God was known as “the book of the Law”! This explains why God told Joshua here that as long as he built his life on “this book of the Law”, he would have good success.
On the other hand, bad success is based on falsehood and it cannot stand the test of time not to talk of measuring up in eternity. Such acts of success can best be described as a smoke that would soon disappear or a flower that would soon fade away. A good example of this is the successful coveting of Bathsheba; Uriah’s wife by King David and the clever elimination of Uriah to cover up their infidelity. This proved to become the “but” in David’s life because what he did could not be hidden from the eyes of the all-seeing God. The result is that God judged him and told him the sword shall never depart from his house. Shortly after this, his reproach began to speak as his first son raped his daughter and another son of his killed his first son in vengeance and after this attempted a coup d’état to dethrone him and take his place until he was killed! Really, bad success is the decorated word for abysmal failure! Believe me, this is not the kind of success you want. See 2 Samuel Chapters 11-18. That you successfully dupe a person or an institution of their hard earned money through fraud or obtaining under false pretense does not make you successful even if it enables you to live in luxury for a season. The truth is that you would soon be found out no matter how tight your security is and how committed you are to the cult that empowers you. Any day a saint rises up in prayer against you, you will quickly come to the rude shock that your cult is not as powerful as it pretends to be. You will be cut off in the midst of your days and would prove to be a fool in the end. See Jeremiah 17:11; Proverbs 13:11!
This is why God is telling us that we can have good success and it would begin to show this month as we lay the foundation for it. In 2Timothy 2:19, the Apostle Paul pointed out that the foundation of God’s word rests on godliness: a departure from iniquity. When we make the truth our life style, good success is sure for us. Thus this month, our mission is to unfold the mystery of skillfully using the word of God so that we can maximize the benefit of good success available to us in the truth which is the word of God. Let me close by saying that good success can be defined as releasing and maximizing your potential for your benefit and that of others including your posterity. In some cases; it comes with a lot of money depending on the purpose for which you were created. However, it will never come with lack and want so your needs would always be met. See Psalm 1:1-6; Deu.28:1-15; Exod.23:25-26; Philippians 4:19; Lk.22:35; Acts 4:34.

This month, you shall flow in such light from the word of God that your good success cannot be denied you in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
If you want to walk in Good success and you are not sure of where you stand with God, you can make sure right away by saying the prayer below out loud and believing:
THE SINNER’S PRAYER
“Heavenly father, I come to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe in my hearth the Jesus Christ came in the flesh, died for me on Calvary’s cross and on the third day, you raised Him from the dead for my justification. Therefore I ask; Jesus, please come into my life and be my Saviour and Lord. I reject and renounce the fatherhood of Satan from now on and forever, Amen!”

Welcome to January, 2014: Our month of Glory!!!

In this year of fruitfulness and abundance, it is important for us to understand that God’s original purpose for creating and making man is for us to be fruitful and multiply to enable us replenish the earth, subdue it and have dominion over all of God’s earthly creation but man. See Genesis 1:26-28; 9:1-2.
To be fruitful means producing good or helpful results or to be productive; to multiply on the other hand means to increase or cause to increase greatly in number. The definition of multiplication describes abundance which means a very large quantity of something. It also means the condition or state of having a copious quantity of something; plentifulness. It also means plentifulness of the good things of life; prosperity.
Like we saw earlier, God’s intention for us is to be fertile – spirit, soul and body producing good or helpful results or be productive in great quantity or in abundant measure.
From our text in Genesis, we can gather that we would only be able to exercise dominion when we are productive otherwise, we cannot fulfill divine expectation. The order is 1. Be fruitful; 2. Multiply; 3. Replenish the earth; 4. Subdue it; and 5. Have Dominion or rule over the earth and everything in it except man.
When Jesus Christ came, He reiterated this truth when He said in John 15:8:
“Herein is my father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples”.
From this text, it is evident that when we fulfil our destinies by being abundantly productive, God is glorified. Jesus also further affirms this truth in John 15:16 when He said we have not chosen Him but that He has chosen us and ordained us to go and bear lasting fruit. He also affirms here that fruit bearing is an incentive to God to answer our prayers. Thus fruit bearing and in abundance is our destiny from God.
As we fulfill our destinies this year, we must understand that a very significant truth that Jesus Christ reveals to us in John 15:5 is that we cannot accomplish anything without him. In other words, we cannot fulfil our destinies and nothing is possible for us without Him. For a clearer understanding of this, let us see John 15:1-5:
I am the vine and my father is the husbandman.
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit He taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye except ye, abide in me.
I am the vine, ye are the branches; He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.”
From this text, it is clear that abundant fruitfulness is impossible without a living relationship or a constant connection to the Lord who likens our relationship with Him to the relationship between the branches of a plant and the plant. Once there is a disconnection of the branch from the plant, the branch dies. In the same way anyone who refuses to stay connected to the Lord would die out as a result of unfruitfulness and if one is part of the branch and fails to bear fruit which usually results from carnality, the father will personally disconnect such a person from the Lord’s body. Consequent on this truth here, it is clear that no better prophetic word would kick off this year than this: January; our month of glory. The glory of God speaks of His manifest presence that reveals who God is and His ways to us. The Oxford Advanced Learners’ Dictionary Defines Glory as:
·        High renown or honour won by notable achievement.
·        Magnificence or great beauty; a thing that is of great beauty, impressive, or worthy of praise. For example, the splendor and bliss of heaven.
·        Praise, worship and thanksgiving offered to God.
In Exodus 33:12-23, we read:
“And Moses said unto the Lord, see, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.
Now therefore I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, show me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
And He said my presence shall go with thee and I will give thee rest.
And he said if thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.
For wherein shall it be known that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? Is it not in that thou goest before us? So shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
And the Lord said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken; for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.
And he said, I beseech the, show me thy glory.
And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
And He said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
And the Lord said, Behold there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:
And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts; but my face shall not be seen.”
From this text, it is evident that the glory of God refers to God’s person. When He is with you, His presence goes everywhere with you. The good news for us believers in Jesus Christ is that God now resides in us because Jesus Christ died to take away our old sinful nature and give us a new spirit which is conducive for God to dwell in. see Ezekiel 36:26-27; 2Cor.5:17, 21 and Colossians 1:27.
Our text in Colossians 1:27 makes us understand that when we invite the Lord Jesus Christ to dwell in our hearts, we would have the potential of carrying the manifest presence of God everywhere. Whether or not you actually demonstrate this grace would depend on your willingness to pay the price. More will be said on this in subsequent epistles.
The experience of Moses by the Red sea in Exodus 14 when the sea parted for him and the children of Israel to walk on dry land while it destroyed their enemies is an example of what God’s manifest presence can accomplish in your life. If you want this kind of grace, it starts with the new birth experience. If you are yet to make a commitment to the Lord and want to do so now, you can say the following prayer out loud meaning it with all of your heart and you shall be saved and can begin your destiny journey!

Welcome to 2014; Our Year of Fruitfulness and Abundance

The year 2014 has been prophetically declared our year of FRUITFULNESS AND ABUNDANCE. God’s will for us is that we bear much fruit – see John 15:8. Jesus Christ also came that we might have life in abundance – John 10:10.
This is the summary of the will of God for us in the year 2014 but whether you will find this truth expressed in your life or not, depends on your ability to understand and engage vision and planning. You must see what God is saying to us from His perspective and you must prove that you believe it by planning for it. Vision is the capacity to see the unseen and mission is to start planning for and acting on it. If you have vision without a matching mission, you will end up as a mere day dreamer with nothing to show for your claims. I believe God that that would not be your story in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For our Church, I see us growing numerically in our discipleship strength. This is not out of place because God gave me a very plausible example when in Gen.25:21-24, He referred to the unborn twins of Rebekah as TWO NATIONS! I personally see each one here today as a continental leader. As we grow in our leadership ability, we will get there In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
You are ordained to bear fruit in abundance – see John 15:16; Jesus chose each of us to bear fruit. Consequently, I consider 2014 a year when we would fulfill destiny because our destiny is to produce after our kind. You will find this truth in the original plan of God for man in Gen.1:26, 28. For the single in our midst, I see you getting married in 2014 and I see God giving you children of your own. For the married I see you all multiplying in value in 2014.
Please understand that this is an eagle assembly; Eagles do not flock and this entails you can no longer move with pigeons; they do not soar and cannot see like the eagle, if you hang out with them, you will lose your identity as an eagle and therefore lose your vision. You will be the same person you are today even in five years’ time except for two things; the books you read and the people company you keep. If you just became a part of this Assembly, I want to congratulate you because you have been set up to succeed by God.

Note that every word of God to you is prophetic, creative and has the ability to produce fruits. God’s word to you this year will transform your entire life and make you a world reformer. God’s word to you tonight will change your life forever. You will never lack what to know to get to the next level of your destiny as long as you remain connected to the Lord in your fellowship life and giving especially that which belongs to the Lord – the tithe!

November ARISE AND SHINE

Arise my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you. Darkness as black as night shall cover all the peoples of the earth but the glory of the Lord will shine from you. All nations will come to your light; mighty kings will come to see the glory of the Lord upon you.” Isa.60:1-3 TLB.
You are the world’s light – a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they may praise your heavenly Father.” Mt.5:14-16 TLB.
Welcome to the month of November in our year of divine visitation; 2013. All through this year, God has visited us month after month with a new prophetic direction and has kept us on the cutting edge in our walk with Him. This month, He is capping it all with this great news that it is time for us to arise and shine. He spoke to me from the above texts of scripture and I chose to use The Living Bible translation because it is a translation that clarifies the truth of what God wants to do with us this month. Every one of us is born for something great! The challenge of man has been the ignorance of this truth. The few who have discovered that they are made in the image and likeness of God have come to a point of realizing that they are born for a special purpose. However, knowing yourself from God’s perspective does not guarantee you will shine except you take the extra step to discovering the reason why you are. When you discover why you are, you automatically know what you have to accomplish why you are. This is how you become a blessing to your world because those who know their purpose and pursue it passionately are people of destiny and the proof is in the value they add to others. When you add value to others, you are doing good works. When this is happening, you can be described as one glowing with light in this dark world providing direction for others. This will result in eliminating confusion in others to the point that because of the solution you are providing, others will praise God.
You can never truly glorify God unless you do the good works for which He placed you in this world. In John 17:4, the Lord Jesus Christ praying to the father said that He has glorified the Father by finishing the work He was sent to do. When you take that text together with the prophecy of Isaiah quoted above and what the Lord said in Matthew 5:14-16 it would be very clear that doing good works with the intention of glorifying God is the means by which we arise and shine. However, this is purpose determined and the only one who can tell you what your purpose is on earth, is God your manufacturer; you cannot create a purpose for yourself; that could best be described as ambition and can destroy you if you do not stop. Awareness of your purpose is a function of divine revelation.
Once you discover your purpose, you arise and shine by taking action in the direction of the fulfillment of your purpose. When you do this, you are arising and shinning by the good works you do adding value to your world and if you are diligent about it, kings will come to the light of your rising because Prov.22:29 says: “Do you know a hardworking man? He shall be successful and stand before kings!”
In light of the above therefore, this month, we shall be looking at a series on fulfilling destiny. You may have stumbled on this article and you are not yet born again. I have good news for you; you can be born again now because the new birth experience is the foundation for shinning. Our texts were given to a people in covenant with God and for you to enter into covenant with God in the times we are in; the new birth experience is required of you. This happens when you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for you on Calvary’s Cross, and confess with your month that you acknowledge Him as your savior and Lord because God raised Him from the dead for your justification. See Romans 10:8-11 – if you want to make that decision now, do so at once by saying the prayer below:
Heavenly Father,
Have mercy on me a sinner. Today, I believe that Jesus died for me and you raised Him from the dead for my Justification. I therefore declare that Jesus Christ is my Saviour and Lord and from today, I renounce the fatherhood of Satan and embrace Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Thank you for this father in Jesus’ name!
Amen.

Welcome to the month of October, Our Month of Fruitfulness

John 15:16: “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, He may give it you.”
From the beginning of the creation of man, God’s intention for man was our fruitfulness. In the purpose statement of God for man, He said in Genesis 1:26: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” We are told in verse 27 of the same text that God went ahead to make man as He intended, but in verse 28, God had to enable man to accomplish this purpose of leading the earth Just like He intended so God empowered Him with the blessing when He blessed man with the ability to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion. From that text, it is evident that we cannot fulfill our leadership role over God’s creation on earth without this tool of fruitfulness.
To be fruitful means to be productive in every area of our lives. For our bodies, we are to proliferate, for our souls we are to be productive and for our spirits, we are to release our hidden abilities through a successful union with the Spirit of God.
Over the years man has done well in proliferation in spite of the sin of Adam and Eve that brought about a temporary death of man’s spiritual productivity until the Lord Jesus Christ came as the Lamb of God to redeem us back to God again. This explains why the world’s population has risen from two people to over seven billion people today! We are told in Galatians 3:13-14 that Christ accomplished the feat of human redemption to enable us step into the platform for receiving the Spirit of God through faith. This platform is the Abrahamic blessing. The reason is that without a reconnection of our spirits to the Spirit of God, we cannot get into oneness with the Spirit of God that would enable us bear spiritual fruits which would in turn help us to fulfill our purpose of leading God’s creation on earth as the spirit realm controls the physical.
You would observe that the history of man has revealed a huge progress in human proliferation from the beginning of time, but the same cannot be said for mental and spiritual productivity as the accomplishment of man on earth over the last 80 to 100 years far outweighs all his accomplishment from the inception of time up till then put together! The reason for this is that with men embracing the Lordship of Jesus Christ for the past 2,000 years up till now and the various moves of the Spirit of God over the years, man’s reconnection to God has brought about a huge stride in development as never before seen!
In our text scripture for the month, this revelation is brought out clearly by the Lord as He points out that as many as are discipled by Him are chosen for the purpose of bearing fruit. This truth is further reiterated by Apostle Paul when He said in Romans 7:4 “ Wherefore brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to Him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.”
Finally, Spiritual productivity is the ultimate kind of fruitfulness as it has the ability to bring about the proliferation in our bodies, mental productivity for our personal and environmental developments as well as spiritual productivity for God’s and our pleasure. To this end, this month, we shall be looking at the message: Walking in the Spirit because fruitfulness is impossible without walking in the spirit. By the side, we shall also see the ills of carnality and how destructive it can be to our productivity. It is my heart felt prayer that this month, your story will be re written for the better. The barren will be made fruitful by the visitation of the Lord this month in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
For you reading this piece who is yet to make a decision for the Lord Jesus Christ and you desire to do so, your first step is the new birth experience.
